Fınally the long time waited project has begun. At half past eight we started by German breakfast - a lot of rolls, dıfferent hams, cheese, grapes, müsli, youghurt, bread spreddings, fresh juice, tee, coffee and on the top of this all: strawberries! The spring is now defınately here.

With fully stomaches we carried on with a tour in the vocational classes. We saw the metalworkers, basket makers, gym class, gardeners, kitchen and laundry workers and the different office workers. Now in the day light we could see the magnificent view from Nikolauspflege down to the city.

After getting know to the campus and the professions you could learn there, it was time to eat again. Mostly the food is quite the same as in our own good Finland but oily salad dressing and the mineral water with dinner surprised most of the finnish diners. But after the well-sized lunch we were ready to continue.

End of the daily program went by getting know to the group members and Matthias Kopp told about the principles of the foundation and of the beginning of Nikolauspflege. The foundation itself is now 150 years old.

The daily program was wrapped and ready.

Because we are preparing the breakfast and supper with ourselves, we headed to market. Every day a pair of students plan and prepare the foods (lucky teachers). After the short visit closer to the city, we had few hours to rest. And that we needed. We are still exhausted of the travelling. At six o'clock we met at Cafe Charisma for the Imbiss. The German hosts had made us something for the first evening so we could rest. First we played some games and after playing and screaming and shouting we were ready to eat. Again. The day started to be at it's end and everybody went to their own ways.

All in all, I think we like Germany.
